AICC Unveils 2008 Training Schedule
December 8, 2007 Official Board MarketsThe Association of Independent Corrugated Converters (AICC) has mailed its 2008 education and training catalog to all its members. The catalog gives interested corrugated converting companies the opportunity to register employees for up to 18 different training programs (a total of 30 training events) for all levels of employees: operators, production supervisors, sales, customer service, finance, and designers.
For 2008, AICC offers these new training programs:
•May 8-9: Selling Graphics Capabilities for Corrugated, Fox Valley Technical College, Appleton, Wis.
•Oct. 8-9: Digital Production for Containers & Displays, Fox Valley Technical College, Appleton, Wis.
•Oct. 27-28: Business Action Executives Conference, Orlando, Fla. For this program, instructors at Stetson University’s Family Enterprise Center will guide attendees on taking action to achieve the strategic objectives of independent businesses.
In addition, four programs will be offered in the first quarter of the year:
•Feb. 4-6: Foundational Elements of Flexographic Printing on Rotary Diecutters, Clemson, S.C.
•March 3-5: Fundamentals of Improved Flexo Printing on Rotary Diecutters, Appleton, Wis.
•March 11-12: Advanced Production Supervisor Training, Phoenix.
•March 20-21: Renewing Your Sales Force: Intermediate Level, Dallas.
In addition, audio web conferences will again be offered, with topics focusing on sales on Jan. 22 and on production on March 18.
There is a 10 percent discount when you register for any of the training programs by Dec. 31. In addition, donors to the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation (ICPF) receive lower registration fees on training offered by AICC at Clemson University and at Fox Valley Technical College.
