Michelman Increases Paper Coating Prices

On Dec. 21, Cincinnati-based Michelman will raise prices on its paper coating products an average of 4 percent to 6 percent in the Americas region. Affected products include Coating X300™, MaxWhite®, Michem® Coat, Nomar™, ThermaGloss®, VaporCoat®, and most other Michelman coating brands.

“Our December price increase is due to rising chemical and energy costs, and forecasts for those costs to remain high for the foreseeable future,” explains Bob Poletti, vice president, paper.
