1. Dynamic Control
KBA North America is marketing a new feature, Dynamic Control, for its closed-loop Densitronic S scanning Spectrodensitometer system that will significantly reduce make-ready waste on press, as well as reducing the number of sheets up to full press production. Dynamic Control is an optional software feature that is available immediately on KBA presses with Densitronic S scanning densitometer systems.

2. All-Electric Glue Valve
Valco's 900-series glue valves are all-electric for enhanced system performance. They are available for contact and non-contact, high-speed gluing applications. High-pressure capabilities ensure the 900 valve is compatible with any adhesive, including high-viscosity formulas. Features include a carbide tip plunger and ceramic seat that provide extended service life with less maintenance.

3. Mounter-Proofer
The ADI/PDM AKU-Check mounter-proofer features a new computerized stretch compensation system, which consists of an encoder, a keypad and digital display that enables it to use two fixed and permanently parallel cylinders for all mounting jobs. The computer uses the diameter or repeat of the printing plate cylinder, the plate thickness and thickness of the backing carrier data to automatically compensate the distance between the drawn horizontal lines on the layout.
