Chris Bartlett is promoted from vice president, operations, to vice president and general manager of Toronto-based TenCorr Packaging, a corrugated sheet supplier.

James E. Hammer, president and ceo of Hammer Packaging, Rochester, N.Y., is the 2008 recipient of Rochester Institute of Technology’s Herbert W. Vanden Brul Entrepreneurial Award. He was honored during an April 23 luncheon. The annual award goes to a successful business leader who has positively impacted the local economy with innovative management skills that have also changed the course of an existing business.

Brett Scroggins is named Huston Patterson Corp.’s director of logistics. He succeeds Ann Good, who recently retired from the Decatur, Ill.-based company.
Scroggins has worked in the logistics and transportation industry for many years, most recently as operations manager for BBK Services, also in Decatur. He will also play a key role in Huston Patterson’s new “Arrive in 5” Program. The program allows Huston Patterson clients to submit artwork on one day and receive shipment of the finished printed project at their dock on the fifth day.

Cincinnati-based Michelman promotes Senior Account Manager Luc Vanderstappen to European business manager for the chemical specialties business unit. In addition, Linus Yoong is hired as new business development manager, Asia, and will be based out of Michelman’s Singapore office.

Todd Zimmerman, vice president of national accounts for Valhalla, N.Y.-based Fujifilm Graphic Systems USA Inc., will assume the new position of vice president, field sales. In addition, Phil Kane will take on the role of vice president, national equipment sales. Zimmerman will oversee all four of the company’s sales regions, as well as national accounts, pressroom products, newspaper products, Fujifilm sales specialists and dealer sales. Kane will lead digital equipment and electronic imaging sales.

Marc Forman is named president of Harmon Associates LLC, a Jericho, N.Y.-based subsidiary of Georgia-Pacific. The 17-year company veteran takes on the role of president in addition to his current duties as chief operations officer. He replaces Simon Davies, who has left the company after 22 years of service.
