National Adhesives has published a new flyer about its Velocity® corrugating liquid additives that enhance corrugator performance. According to the flyer, Velocity additives deliver higher tack and runnability for greater corrugator speed than any liquid additive on the market. In addition, operators may select Velocity grades that provide water resistance comparable to or better than any one-component additive.

National’s chemistry increases tack and runnability compared to Stein Hall starch-based adhesives. In addition to achieving 10 percent to 30 percent faster running speeds, operators using Velocity additives have witnessed improved bond quality, reduced application levels, and less warp.

In comparison tests, no other one-component additive equaled the performance levels of National’s Velocity XR5 additive for both speed increase and water resistance.

The publication includes a chart that presents five Velocity products, with comparative information on addition rates, speed and water resistance.
