The Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) will hold its Fall Meeting and Leadership Conference Oct. 22-24 at the Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes Resort in Orlando. This year’s meeting will focus on branding, with the theme Building Your Brand Strategy. Branding experts will help attendees hone their branding strategies. Specifically:
• Build sales while building a brand with Alan Isacson, president, A.B. Isacson & Associates, and one of Packaging Strategies’ 10 Most Influential Minds in the Packaging Industry.
• Streamline business-to-business marketing with Gary Slack, a nationally recognized and award-winning business-to-business communications strategist.
• Tap into the highly successful arena of emotional branding with Daryl Travis, the best-selling author of Emotional Branding: How Successful Brands Gain the Irrational Edge.
“This year’s program is a not-to-be missed opportunity for our members,” says Ben Markens, PPC President. “We wanted to give them tools and resources they could use to hit the ground running at their businesses after the conference. Breaking your business free from the pack is becoming more important even as it becomes more difficult. Branding is key – and this program will give our members an edge.”
The Fall Meeting & Leadership Conference is also an opportunity for PPC’s board of directors and member committees to meet and plan future goals and projects. PPC has included a golf outing at the Greg Norman-designed Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, as well as a spouse/companion program to the Morse Museum, which is home to the world’s most comprehensive collection of the works of Louis Comfort Tiffany. PPC also will be honoring outgoing president Jerry Van de Water with a special tribute during the conference. Members can register at www.ppcnet.org/fall.
